“OMORI” RESCORE (2025)

Seessa took part of the video game “Omori” by Omocat Studios and took out the original music. It was then replaced it with my own music and sound effects. Without using any sound libraries or online resources, he recorded all of the audios himself using guitars, flutes, synthesizers, balloons, and various vocalizations and mouth noises. This was a turning point in his creative trajectory where there was a realization that Seessa wanted to do more media scoring.

“FLOWERS AND THEIR ROOTS” (2025)

This piece is for solo alto saxophone with fixed media. Using the composer’s ultrasound of his heart’s mitral valve to keep the tempo, the piece uses synthesizers and manipulation of a voice recording to create an unsettling atmosphere while the saxophone plays long phrases on top of it. This piece was heavily inspired by John Coltrane’s “Alabama”.

“CAN YOU HEAR THE MUSIC?” (2024)

I performed music scoring live on stage for an original theater piece called “Can You Hear The Music?” May 4th, 2025. This 40 minute one act is a piece about long distance friendship gone sour. It was such an honor working with such talented writers, actors, directors, sound designers, and more! Very grateful for this experience in Saviana Stănescu’s collaboratory class.

THE FOUR LOVES (2021-2023)

“The Four Loves” is a graphic score first written for Ethan Pinckert for a performance at Ithaca College in the fall of 2021. After years of editing it and multiple performances of the piece by Pinckert throughout the years, it was chosen to be performed at the New Music Gathering in Portland, Oregon. It was then performed spring of 2024 at the Swiss Institute Museum in New York City by Duo Indigo. While the piece continues to be performed, it was a turning point in his career and my collaboration with Pinckert continues to be a transformative experience.
